St. Paul's Fastest Kid! Meet Day Itinerary

Saturday, April 24, 2010 (Tentative Schedule)

9:15          Student and parent/guardian check-in

9:35        Welcome and introduction of college sprinters and Piper

9:40          Warm-up with Piper and sprinters

9:55          Starter gives instructions on race procedures

10:00      100m Preliminary heats begin

10:40      T-shirts distributed to all participants

10:45       Photographs with kids, t-shirts and Piper

10:50        Tour of track and field events, field house and locker rooms 

11:35       Finals warm-up with Piper and sprinters

11:45       100m Boys Finals *

11:50       100m Girls Finals *

12:00        St. Paul’s Fastest Kid! event ends. Students and parents are invited to stay and watch the remainder of the meet. 

 

* The winning individual will do a 100m victory jog/wheel down the home-stretch with the Piper.  His/her name and school will be announced, and he/she will throw a t-shirt into the stands.
