PRELIMINARY MEET SCHEDULEField Events:
4:00 pm  Pole Vault (limited to 21 athletes) 
Long Jump (followed by TJ)
Hammer (4 throws!) followed by  Discus (progressive flights & finals)
Javelin  (progressive flights & finals)
Shot (Open Circle- Get 3 throws in by 6pm> Top 9 to Finals @ 6:15)

4:30 pm  High Jump            

6:15 pm  Shot Put Finals (Get 3 throws in between 4-6pm> Top 9 to finals)

 Running Events: (All Timed Finals, Fast Heat Last)
5:00 - 3K Steeplechase – l heat
5:20 - 4x100 Relay – 1 heat
5:25 - 1500 – 2 heats
5:40 - 100m Hurdles – 2 heats
5:50 - 400m – 2 heats
6:00 - 100m – 4 heats
6:12 - 800m – 2 heats
6:20 - 400m Hurdles – 2 heats
6:30 - 200m  (Limit 4 entries per team) – 4 heats
6:42 - 5K – 1 heat
7:07 - 4x400m Relay – 1 heat
7:20 - Men's All-American 10K
*There will be no Women's All-American 10k

Cancelled -  ALL AMERICAN   10K Race  Women –
DID NOT GET THE ENTRIES needed to run the race

HU Twilight – FIELD EVENT INSTRUCTIONS
Throwing Events:

Hammer- Each athlete will be allowed 4 throws.  
               There will be no finals!

Discus  and Javelin - Flighted from lowest to highest. 

                              Top 9 will go to finals.

Shot- Cafeteria style, top 9 go to finals. 

*Athletes will have 1 minute to attempt their jump/throw after their name has been called.

Throw Warm Up Time

Hammer, Javelin & Discus- 10 min. between flights.

Shot- 15 min  (6-6:15)

Instructions for Jumping Events

Long Jump- Each athlete will be allowed 3 jumps.  Top 9 will go to finals

Triple Jump- All Jumpers will be giving 6 jumps.

Starting Heights for High jump and Pole Vault

Womens High Jump              1.35, 1.40, 1.45, etc…1.65, 1.68…

4’4, 2 inches until 5’4, then 1 inch

D III Automatic 1.71m (5-7 1/4)    D III Provisional      1.65m (5-5)   

Womens Pole vault 2.25, 2.40, 2.55, 2.70….etc.

D III Automatic 3.86m (12-8)        D III Provisional      3.55m (11-7 3/4)

 Only invited teams will be able to enter athletes.

ENTRY FEE:  $120 per team ($240 for both men and women)

10K ENTRY FEE:  There will be a $20 entry fee for all athletes in the 10K -- unless their team/coach has paid the team entry fee for the Hamline Women’s Twilight or the Macalster Men’s Twilight Meet.

Entry fee must be paid before athletes are allowed on the premises.
Top 10 finishers will get an All American 10k T-Shirt

RESULTS: The women’s results will be listed with the Hamline Women’s Twilight meet results.  The men’s race results will be listed in conjunction with the Macalester Men’s Twilight meet.
